On October 14th 1988 Dag Erik Elgin stole documentation associated with the oeuvre – Hole through the Glass in the Studio of Joseph Beuys, Room 002  from the State Academy of Art, Düsseldorf.
Without this registration form the State Academy of Düsseldorf does not officially own this work.
Without permission The Institute of Social Hypocrisy has recreated such a hole and claims ownership of the piece. The original registration form will be replaced by our own version and The Institute of Social Hypocrisy now owns – Hole through the Glass in the Studio of Joseph Beuys, Room 002.
